Stitch patterns worked on plain-weave fabric with metallics add a nice glow. Although the original is festive green and red on golden yellow, you may choose your own color of fabric and threads. (Some students may need to bring magnification, but the lighting in our classroom is excellent.) See a picture of the class piece.
This is one of The Bells Are Ringing series of classes, all based on a bell motif, designed to introduce our friends to many different embroidery techniques -- ten of them, to be exact. Register for at least five classes and any other one will be our gift to you.
